PM Kisan 21st Installment Date.<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n

PM Kisan 21st Installment Date:<\/strong> The government has released the 21st installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan) scheme, but this tranche has so far been issued only for flood and landslide-affected farmers of Jammu and Kashmir.<\/p>\n

Union Agriculture and Farmers\u2019 Welfare Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on October 7 released the installment in advance through video conferencing from Krishi Bhavan, New Delhi. Under this release, Rs 171 crore has been directly transferred to the bank accounts of 8.55 lakh farmers, including over 85,000 women farmers in Jammu and Kashmir. With this, farmers in the Union Territory have received a cumulative Rs 4,052 crore under PM-KISAN so far.<\/p>\n

Chouhan said the move reflects the Modi government\u2019s commitment to stand \u201cshoulder to shoulder” with those affected by floods and other natural calamities. The minister added that no farmer will be left alone in this hour of crisis and that this installment is aimed at helping them meet immediate needs.<\/p>\n

The minister also announced additional relief measures, including Rs 85 crore sanctioned under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Gramin) for rebuilding around 5,000 damaged houses, and an increase in MGNREGA workdays from 100 to 150 for affected households once the J&K government\u2019s proposal is approved.<\/p>\n

For now, the latest PM-KISAN installment is specific to Jammu and Kashmir\u2019s flood-hit farmers. The nationwide release of the 21st installment of Rs 2,000 for all eligible farmers under the scheme is yet to be announced.<\/p>\n

PM Kisan 21st Installment Date: When Will It Be Released For All Farmers?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 19th Installment of the PM Kisan scheme was released in August, which was delayed as against the expectations in June. As the installment is generally released every four month, farmers expect it this month.<\/p>\n

However, there is no official announcement on this so far. The government will announce in advance before disbursing the amount.<\/p>\n

How To Check Your PM-Kisan Installment Status<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Click on \u2018Know Your Status\u2019<\/li>\n
  • Enter your registration number or Aadhaar number<\/li>\n
  • Check whether your name is on the beneficiary list<\/li>\n
  • Also ensure that your eKYC is completed, as it is mandatory for installment release.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    What Is The PM Kisan Scheme?<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Launched in 2019 after being announced in the Interim Budget by then Finance Minister Piyush Goyal, the PM Kisan scheme has become the world\u2019s largest DBT scheme. Under it, nearly 9.7 crore eligible farmers receive Rs 2,000 every four months totalling Rs 6,000 annually in the following cycles \u2014 April-July, August-November, and December-March.<\/p>\n

    The money is deposited directly into the bank accounts of the beneficiaries.<\/p>\n

    Who Is Eligible for PM Kisan?<\/strong><\/p>\n

    To qualify for the PM Kisan\u2019s 20th installment, one must:<\/p>\n

    • Be a citizen of India<\/li>\n
    • Own cultivable land<\/li>\n
    • Be a small or marginal farmer<\/li>\n
    • Not be a pensioner receiving Rs 10,000 or more per month<\/li>\n
    • Not have filed income tax<\/li>\n
    • Not be an institutional landholder.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      • Click on \u2018New Farmer Registration\u2019<\/li>\n
      • Enter your Aadhaar number and captcha<\/li>\n
      • Fill in the details, click \u2018Yes\u2019<\/li>\n
      • Complete the form, submit it, and take a printout<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
