BluSmart, the all-electric ride-hailing service, surprised both users and employees when it abruptly suspended operations earlier this year. Recently, the company\u2019s official X (formerly Twitter) account shared a shocking post, openly accusing the founders of wrongdoing and warning customers not to expect refunds.<\/p>\n

The post also revealed that employees had gone unpaid for months. It is rare to see a company publicly accuse its own founders while addressing customers and staff so directly.<\/p>\n

BluSmart Meltdown Turns Into Meme Gold<\/strong><\/p>\n

The announcement became a talking point across social media with people sharing jokes, witty lines and humorous reactions about the situation.<\/p>\n

A user commented, \u201cLooks like someone from the social media team with the credentials tweeted this out of frustration over not receiving their four months\u2019 salary.”<\/p>\n

Another remarked, \u201cSad to see a promising endeavour fall in such a way. At least the interns had the last laugh!”<\/p>\n

Some users called it iconic, with a person saying, \u201cThe top legendary tweet in the history of Indian Twitter,” while another wrote, \u201cBluSmart intern is cooking.”<\/p>\n

\u201cLesson \u2014 if you shut down your company. Also, deactivate\/change password of the social media handles,” a person jokingly commented.<\/p>\n

An individual shared, \u201cWe got ex-employees raging over unpaid salary on official accounts before GTA VI.”<\/p>\n

\u201cLol, intern rises from the ashes,” and \u201cApni hi thaali mein” were some other remarks.<\/p>\n

\u201cIntern redeemed his unpaid stipend for aura points”, a comment read.<\/p>\n

Why Did BluSmart Discontinue Its Operations?<\/strong><\/p>\n

BluSmart was co-founded by Anmol Singh Jaggi, who also serves as a Managing Director at Gensol Engineering. Earlier this year, the company had to suspend its services after the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) prohibited Jaggi from participating in the securities market in February.<\/p>\n

The ban came after allegations surfaced that he had used funds from his listed company, Gensol, for personal purchases such as a high-end apartment and an expensive golf set, Livemint reported.<\/p>\n

The report further mentioned that BluSmart faced insolvency proceedings when the National Company Law Tribunal approved a petition against it on July 28. Catalyst Trusteeship, a financial creditor, had filed the petition in May, where it claimed that the startup had missed several payments in February, March and April (total Rs 1.28 crore).<\/p>\n
